i noticed this new thing within the ricer community is to hang a d-ring or caribbeaner (which ever you call it) in the same place you'd put truck nutz.
What is this? Is it to tow their buddy's car home after they suck a valve from over-revving their lawnmower?

lol, possibly.

i've seen quite a few around spanaway/tacoma area. Even saw a car that had a sticker which read "Mine is bigger than yours" and it appeared that he had an over-sized d-ring.

ive noticed that too, now i see the fad of haveing spots of hacked bondo work done on the car too comeing back into the "scene". that must shed 100lbs lmao

Wait.. Wouldn't that add 100lbs? :D

They're just too broke to have it painted. It costs a lot for a quality paint job. Just image what it would look like if they had Macco spray over their shotty body work? That's why their so slow too, no money to put into the engine to back up the exterior. So they throw on a shit can, hope no one calls their bluff, and say their car is 230hp.

iv noticed that in the yelm/oly area

probly a place to hang on to while there doing it up the tail pipe:hottubfun:

I had one on my ranger actually Lol. But that was last winter when I used it as a tow hook. I since then have learned that my 2WD isnt destined to be an off road rig. In the past week or two ive decided Im going to create a street rod with it. Hopefully a blown 302 in the future.

..whats a d-ring?

Lol.
