hey guy back again.. i need a new engine for my 88 ranger i had a 4.0 from a 92 explorer but that fell through... what other engines fit into my truck that arn't a big problem to find and to put in? thanks alot sphinx

4.0 and 2.9 are going to be the best. You can put a V-8 in there, but that requires a lot more work.
