New computer needed. Which ones are compatible?

I have a computer out of a running 90 b2 with 2.9 5 speed sitting on the bench. It's ugly but the truck ran fine when torn apart.
If is what you need let me know. I'll send it for 35.00.

@Ivwill - I dunno, seems like there are too many differences. Here's a pic of my label:

Not 100 percent sure on the compatibility year to year. Maybe someone will chime in who knows for sure.

Yes, @PetroleumJunkie412 knows about these 2.9ls

But I think you are "over thinking" this
Replacement EEC-IV computer needs to match just 3 things
1. Engine, in this case 2.9l
2. Transmission type, manual or auto
3. EGR, yes or no

1988 to 1992 Ranger 2.9ls didn't have EGR system, so E8TF-12A650 to F2TF-12A650 part number should work
Although 1988-1990 would be better IMO

Seller should know what engine and what transmission EEC-IV came from, or skip it

2WD or 4x4 doesn't matter in any year Ranger, as far as engine computer

Computer is from a 1990 bronco 2
2.9- 5 speed

Yup, should be fine if its going into a 1988--1992 2.9l w/ manual

Wasn't there 2.9 with MAF for California? That would be a fourth factor wouldn't it?

I bought @Ivwill 's ECM from the '90 B2, and popped it in as soon as it arrived. The truck fired right up with no problem or even much cranking - after sitting for 3+ years! Worked like a charm. Now I just gotta throw a better battery in it (have now learned the hard way that sitting unhooked without being charged for 3+ yrs ruins even a NEW one - duhhh 😖) and get some various things lubed, and off to Craigslist it goes! Thanks again @Ivwill and @RonD, your help was very appreciated!
