Just had to pop in and create an account today so I could toss a huge THANKS at everyone who contributes to other members posts and info in the Tech Library.
I have recently started a 3.0 to 4.0 OHV swap on my '98 Ranger XLT 4x4, and the info available on this site has been the best form of vehicle reference material I have ever run across.
I am about 50% of the way done checking the components(Engine/Tranny/Electronics) needed for the swap from a '98 Explorer.
I should be starting to remove my 3.0 and tranny from the Ranger in the next day or so and tossing the 4.0 and Tranny into the Ranger in the next week.
Going to try and grab some pics of the removal and install process, to possibly aid other forum members in the future.
