New clutch requires very little press to disengage

I just replaced the clutch at 190k miles (never done before, old clutch had a bit of life left in it, but I had taken the transmission out already so why not). Bench bled the master cylinder and gravity bled the slave. The pedal is nice and firm but it only takes about an inch of pedal movement to disengage. Not sure what is causing this, and most people like it like this, but I like having a bit of pedal movement to disengage. Is there anything I can do to adjust it?

That's how it's supposed to be.

Hmm alright, thanks. I just remember it being a lot more pedal movement before it disengaged.

Well, I took it out for a test drive today, and the CEL came on... grabbed my code reader and it said the o2 sensor bank 1 upstream, so I thought I just unplugged it and forgot to plug it back in... boy was I wrong.

I checked to make sure that I didn't have any wires caught in there before I tightened but I guess this made it past there somehow... now time to take apart those bolts and see if I can pull it out... I didn't drop the tranny either to get to the top bolts, just slide my hands through the side.

OOOps!
I wonder if that will have any thing to do with pedal feel? I can see it doing so.

No the plug was stuck in the cavity on top out of the clutch area. But I need to now find out what wires go where as the plug is still stuck in there without getting the transmission all the way out and I just cut it and plan on splicing it. Can anyone take a picture of their plug showing which wires go where?
