K so I just replaced my clutch threw the tranny and engine back together (more like wrestled and swore up a storm) it all bolted up tight but here are the problems.
First, the clutch line is a royal pain in the ass to try and get connected, so the cotter pin to hold it in is only half way in, and tricks or what not about this would be helpful but I'm sure I'll figure it out
Second, even with no hydraulic pressure from the pedal I should still be able to put it in gear and have it engage and not move, right? the tranny feels like the shifter is seated in and you can shift through the gears, the drive lines are in and still if I put it in gear it feels like it's in neutral and just rolls. is this normal?
Third, last and certainly not least. the starter started it once and now is not catching, I was told a starter from a 4.0 would work (so I tried it) but it just spins and won't even touch the flywheel, the flywheel looked decent. I'm going to try and put the 10 tooth gear from the 4.0 starter on the 2.8L starter I've heard this works. any tips would be helpfull. thank you guys so much
