New car suggestions

I officially hate you. :flipoff: :pissedoff: I want a Skyline so damn bad it is not funny. Not bc it the 'fast and furious' thing to do but bc THEY ARE QUICKER THAN GREASED OWL SHIT!

If you wanna buy it, ill drive it anywhere to get it to you. You just pay for gas and food. And yes they are, they are legitimately insane. They are also Japanese tune, not North America tune. A fair jump in HP and TQ, about 30 or so, nvm upgrades made to the motor.

I actually don't think Tiburon's are bad at all, I just really prefer rear-wheel drive. If I can't find something rwd, I'll start looking for one of those.

Just an FYI, if you are not getting an AWD Audi A4, then you are getting a FWD drive one.

.

Not sure if you can find one of these for 10k but off the top of my head.....

Mustang
Supra
350Z
RX-8
RX7
S2000
Crossfire (won't find a SRT6 for 10k)
C-Class SLK or CLK Mercedes
Lexus IS

.

Nice car, but there's one thing lacking: a TRUE stick shift. The Tiptronic and other manual auto's don't do much for me.

They can be fun, not as much fun as a true stick, and I frequently forget to shift, but I've owned/driven a few cars with them. They are alright.

why so dead set against FWD?

I'm not dead set against it, I just prefer rwd or awd. I don't hate fwd, but the handling never feels quite right to me.

Yeah, I know. I was looking for A4 Quattro's.

well, i've owned 8 Subaru foresters. they all did right by me, from my 1978 model all the way thru my 2004. no complaints except that the new ones have way too many subaru specific requirements: oil filter, wiper blades, etc. don't like that myself.
so, subaru is my first choice, but one older than 2009.
2nd choice would be the newer chevy mailbu's. especially the hatchback model. look good, good warranty (100k/5yr), good on gas, plenty of room, nice ride, decent reliability.
i know all the ford guys are gonna bash it, but i just like the overall wider stance and interior room compared with like the focus. and with all the commercials touting the ford products reliability, why not a longer warranty? same for honda, toyota, subaru, etc.
just my $.02.

They newer Chevy sedans are nice. I've driven my mom's '04 Impalla a few times. It isn't exactly a BMW in the corners, but the 3.8 V6 goes pretty good.

Guys, let's not forget his criteria. He wants either a coupe, or a smaller sedan, sporty, but with decent gas mileage (at least 20 mpg). Budget is $10,000 max. Prefers RWD or AWD.

Cars like Foresters, Tauruses, Malibus, Rangers, Vibes, Neons (maybe an SRT4) or Accords (for the most part) do not fit this bill. All nice cars but are not exactly sport coupes or sport sedans.

like gwaii said. buy a cheap car and spend the rest in aftermarket and performance parts and u will have one bad ride that no one else has. plus u may not even have to put 5k into it to make it run like a 10k car. i would suggest something awd and with a turbo. u can get 3000gt's for fairly cheap. or subbies r nice too.

No, but an SVT Focus might be nice.

There was one of those running around here, the guy sold it for a new blood red focus coupe he did as i recall sold the svt for well under 10k so i know they can be had for the price range..:yahoo:
