New bumper what you guys think

The wall on the tube looks pretty thin anyways for any severe "bumping"... giggity.

It's 3 1/2 tubing and the reason for no end caps is I had to cut like 9 inch off both sides but once I have the time I'll cut more off and weld the sides back on that wrap with the body back on but should save the front from anything under 50 lol

those things fold at a 5mph impact. its like using exhaust pipe as a roll bar.

I happen to be an EXPERT on my own opinion and I LIKE IT! Just clean the finger prints ,cap the ends and LOTS of lights -as time and money permits of course- and BTW the tool box in the background IS EPIC :icon_rofl: Not sure but I think it could hold a little more! HAPPY NEW YEAR !:icon_cheers:

The tool box in the back is one of 4 + tire mech mig and stick

The size of the pipe is not what makes it its the thickness which happens to be 1/4 inch and I would love 4 kc 100 watt lights there butt a roll bar first then lights

Better pic

actually a 3" piece of 1/4 wall stuff will bend easier than a 2" piece of 1/4 wall stuff.. i think? idk... my bumper has been tested by 3 different trucks in my college parking lot, i know it'll hold lol.

main point, it doesn't matter what anyone says or thinks except you. if you like it, good. personally, i hate tube bumpers unless its a prerunner style. so i wouldn't use it on mine.

Well tested the bumper out on the way home from work tonight

Actually, a 3", 1/4" wall pipe, will be almost twice as strong as a 2", 1/4" wall pipe.

Disclaimer: I didnt really do the math to come up with that exact number, it may not be twice as strong, but close to it. :D
