I just finished putting a 1995 ford explorer EGR 4.0L in my Non EGR 1993 ford Ranger.I switched the EGR manifold for a non-EGR manifold.
My question is do I need to worry about anything computer wise as far as programming?
Also I read in the Tech Library that the 95's got the new heart shaped fast burn chambers as well as the pistons got a larger diameter dish in them, It says this was done to keep the compression ratio the same as it was in previous years.
So it should run well on the 93 PCM right?
