I just swapped out my A4LD for a FM146.

Got everything in a wired up, and started the motor up for the first time in a few months. With the stick in Neutral, there's a strong vibration between 1600-2000 rpm.

I did the 4.0 clutch swap and I DID install the pilot bearing in the flywheel.

Since I don't have any help to bleed the slave cylinder right now, it remains with unbled, so that's why the stick remains in N, just for a start and run test.

Could the unbled slave be a possible cause for the vibration? Everything was sound mechanically when I put it in. Everything was torqued to proper specs.

Clutch up or down?

If it is clutch down it could be a bad TOB. I know my truck has a bad one and it makes a nice vibe when the clutch is partially engaged.

Clutch up.

The slave cylinder and TOB are brand new.

Sent from my Casio G'zOne Commando 4G, it's the John Connor of Smartphones. You cannot kill it...
