Hiya guys. I'm having a heck of a time finding this part. Its the small metal arm, inside the brake drums, that connects the cable to the brake mechanism. PO cut the cables and removed the arms from the drums. I found some on ebay that MAY be the right part, but at $120 each I'm not exactly exited to cross my fingers and hope they're correct. Anyone have any leads or spares laying around? I'd even be happy with a workaround. I've been considering cutting and bending some scrap metal to see If I could force it to work.

Nada. That is the bar that holds the brake shoes apart. The part that I'm looking for attaches the parking brake cable to the brake. I appreciate your efforts, though!

I don't think I am seeing it on either of these, but this is a place to start.... LMC truck - does it appear on either of these pix?

The first pic comes from their "parking brakes" page, the 2nd pic comes from their "rear brakes, 2wd" page:

edit: amendment - blowup #7 contains 2 small metal arms, and I think that is what you are lookin for - $11 a pop from lmc.... course their shipping is pretty ouch.

Myself for a hard to find like that, if a competent guy at oreilly or autozone can't find it in the computer go look for one at the junkyard... since it is a non-wearing durable metal part used should be just fine as long as you find one that some PO hasn't mangled...

I've scoured their schematics and their paper catalogue. The part isn't in there. The 2 small parts in the cutaway are a cable guide (the rounder one) and the brake adjuster. It's so strange to me that this part is missing from the schematics and also so hard to find!
