Need transmission

Hello I wonder can any one tell me what vehicle I should be looking for I need a 4 or 5 speed manual transmission to bolt up to a 1985 2.8 out of a bronco 2. This 2.8 is going into a 1951 mgtd kit car. Nearest I can figure it. I need a 1984/85 tk 4 or 5 ( I would rather have the clutch slave cylinder on the outside) I can not use the bronco trans.

If you want the external slave..you will want an 83-84 generally i believe. They may be a little harder to come by. Actually an internal slave 2wd m50-variant from any 2.9, 4.0 would probably be a better trans but I'm sure you have your reason for the external slave option..keep in mind you can swap those bells for some of the trannies as well (early tk-4's 5's, etc ..

Thanks John the clutch slave cylinder is on the out side now so it would be easier to just reuse this set up but your right I'm not having much luck finding one so will probably use a newer one. Thanks again
