Need to know the name of a song

I have heard it a few times now since I switched to a rock station. All I know is it says something about "sweet sasassafras" and then home sweet home.

It is an older song...

thanks,i don't know rangers very well yet,but i was in high school when these songs were first out and dd's were gto's,cudas,chargers,boss 302's,torinos,etc..i still listen to and play some of this music.

i might be wrong about the album,ist or 2nd doesn't matter,both good albums.the show they did in atlanta last is out on dvd called(you gotta move)i highly recommend it!that song is on it.

heh i remember too.. some from our high school. jacked up mustangs and camaros... a few roadrunners and olds 442's thrown into the mix. the sound of engines in the parking lot was deafening!
the h.s lots these days are tame in comparison. and don't get me started on the music....

Iguess I'm an old fart in training. I remember those cars, but they were about 15 years old and usually a little scruffy. On graduation day about half a dozen of the shoppies got together and clouded the high school parking lot in tire smoke. My buddy with the '69 Charger got caught.

That is also one of my top 10 favorite car movies. Love the soundtrack also. Even though I have most of them on LP and 8-track.
