Need to know if Master cylinder is same for 1991 - 1999 Ranger, 3.0

Hello Does anyone know if the Master Cylinder on a 1991 Ranger 3.0 is the same one used for any other year Ranger? I need to replace my 1991 MC ASAP and none of the local parts stores has a new one available. My next option would be to scavenge one from a Pick n Pull bone yard. The local bone yard has several potential donor Rangers but all are different years. I have a choice between 1987, 1983, 1989, 1992 and 1999. Which year would be the place to start?? Thanks a bunch! Hoping to complete this by this afternoon so I am mobile for work tonight...

89 or 92 will be the closest. Almost any year will work, but some of the line ends have to be adapted if they are put in early vehicles because around 95 they changed from double flare to to bubble flare and the two kinds wont' seal against each other.

Thank you for the info, it is greatly appreciated ... Now about that interlock switch ... can I bypass it? Donor vehicle doesn't have one ... my ranger does ... <grumbles> damn technology anyway...
