boy thats pretty eh?

I just jam a screw driver in and push on it while I turn the wrench. Works every time, except on leaf spring hangers with gas tanks in the way.

that not on the 01 ranger you have is it???

heh, you got lucky!

*note, the following pic is with nothing cut or removed. Just the vehicle was raised.

Yah the 2001...
and No it wouldnt come out period the metal sleave was rusted inside and threads jammed in there....

the whole bushing was rotating with bolt...no way to hold it faster and easyer to cut just wish I had cut it earlier...lol

It seems like thats the case for of the shackle changes I've heard of.

aye Thats what I heard but only after I did mine...

I did put the chevy drop shackles in though

Those states back east need to seriously compensate people for this, it's ridiculous how much salt fucks up cars over there. Surprised there hasn't been a lawsuit on the matter.

Yah its sad Im not sure my hitch is very safe either lost about 6lbs of rust off it when I was banging round there I was surprised when I swept it up lol....

Shame on ford no fenderliners lol

No Fenderliners? What? My ranger has fenderliners.

Yah Dunno if its sposed to have em but it dont my tails occasionally fill with water as well as a result have to dry em then grease the seal every so often

That's a bummer. The ones on the back of mine are a 2 piece liner, I ripped the right rear one that protects the front side off while doing some hardcore 2-wheelin Lol.

I had to do that to my tranny cross member bolts.... My shackles look about like that as well, but then again, mine's a 94. My shackle mounts don't look to hot either, and I had to fab up a passenger side rear cab mount last winter and will have to do a drivers side this year but I am out of gas...
