I got it in and have brake line reconnected, but in doing so a few springs came off and the entire mechanism doesn't want to seem to come together at the tip now ,where the springs go on.....i just don't have rear brake knowledge....im terrible with springs and countermoving type things.....all the springs are still good I just don't want to waste my own time.....if you know someone in offering good $ $100 shouldn't take more than an hour just please if you refer someone make sure they know rear ranger brakes inside and out. I appreciate it but its of no help, im done w it, and that diagram doesn't show the pins that go in the sides of the cylinder, mine are sticking out that's part of the problem I think.....i have no clue, im just pissed off, that's it, I need someone other than me to finish this

Those pins are part of the wheel cylinder. Ive just pushed them back in before, if the shoe gets really (and i mean REALLY, like grinding for a long time) worn and you hit the brakes itll over extend the pushrods and that happens. Probably should buy a wheel cylinder.

I put the new cylinder in already, it's finding how the springs go that's messin me up.....i may have it ive got the aparatus fitting together now, and I got all springs on except one.....im gonna watch some videos see if I can get it thx, just need to see if it goes in front, or behind something

Drum brakes can be a little tricky...

Sometimes it's best to just walk away from it. Clear your mind... maybe watch a youtube how to. Although those are hit and miss. Everyone thinks they know... but many have no damn clue.

It also helps to have the proper tools...

I thought I had just fixed it, had it all back together good, tried it and its still leaking....im wondering if I got a bad cylinder from the parts store, it looked used but I just took it, damnit man....its going to the mechanic.....so damn pissed right now...

I want a coca cola so bad righr now I'm almost ready to walk to the store

Sounds like they got over extended and then cocked.

So a fresh cylinder may be needed.

Do you have the brake pliers? Or a spring tool? A couple of bux well spent.
