Need some QUICK recommendations

Hey all, the Explorer is about due for some new tires, and my uncle knows a guy with a tire shop so he's gonna get them replaced for me early next week. So I need some fast replies on some good tire recommendations. This truck will see absolutely NO OFF ROAD. It's basically my mom's grocery getter, so these tires just need to perform well on-road but also need to do very well in bad weather. (mostly rain, very occasionally snow). I need something that is very quiet and has excellent treadwear. I'm currently considering these tires based on specs and reviews from tirerack.com:

Michelin LTX
Continental CrossContact LX
Yokohama Geolander H/T-S
Avon Ranger TSE

Of course, the tire shop may not have some of these tires, but they also may have some other good alternatives that are not offered on tirerack so I'm definitely open to suggestions. Thanks a lot.

the BFGoodrich All-Terrain should be your top choice. It is an excellent tire. My buddy got about 55,000 miles out of a set on a TTB truck. They are super quiet, preform excellent in the rain, and when it does snow they will preform.

I recommend going to www.tirerack.com and looking up the tires you are interested in and comparing.

out of those you listed: either michelin or the yokohamas, also check out the goodyear wrangler and fortera silent armors
i would personally go with the forteras or the LTX M/S IMO
