so the carpet is shot in my 01 so im thinkin about gettin some roll on bed liner or something of that nature to put down what would be the best thing to use and what brand would be the best?? im also pondering on putting it along the bottom of the entire truck the truck is gold whatyas think it would look like:icon_confused: ill post a pic up later

black on gold looks good. You can usually get rhino line in almost any color you want. Prolly make more noise after, losing the sound deadening of the carpet and the insulation and what not.

The roll on bedliner should deaden sound pretty well. I always liked the trucks with the heavy rubber mat. Using the bedliner under the mat would seal it from getting the metal wet. It's always nice being to use a hose to wash out the floor when you have to get in with muddy boots :)

Yea. I'm all for rubber floor mats. I hate carpet in a 4x4.

Roll on bed liner will help stop rust from occuring under your mats. I did that in the 69 bronco I had while the interior was out of it. Coverd up where all the seams were welded in to cut out the rust holes. Wish I still had that bronco.

thanks for the info fellas started taking things apart inside tonight decided to pull the jump seats too to make a bit more room shes ussualy stuffed to the gills with carharts boots and tools so a little extra room wont hurt...

I'm planning on rhinoing the floor and then dropping a MIP mat in it.

Yeah they have those mats in the LMC catalog. They're like 300 bucks give or take, but new carpet is the same price. Plus it covers the whole truck.

I'm considering the MIP mats for my F150, but would love to hear from someone that has ordered and installed a set first.
