Need some lift help.

I bought a 1998 ranger 2wd 5speed xlt about 6 months ago for $600 and has needed nothing but now the shocks are going so i figure its time for some lift cause 2wd in the woods is so much more fun than crawling with 4x4 so need some help in finding the cheapest but still effective lift im not cheap just dont wana pay more than i have to all i want is to be able to clear 31" tires thx any help is great
