Need Some Ideas

Got my ranger...4inch suspension rancho lift...pretty nice long travel on the way...my question is i need to redirect my battery because i need to install my MSD DIS-4 for my light bar...Where is the best place to direct my battery? I heard about putting it in the bed but im thinking about rain...how about some ideas for me i wanna do it today...thanks

can you post some more information about the truck ? extended cab? what motor ?

i'd think there would be room somewere on the firewall how big is this control?

Extra Cab...3.0 v6...the control is 6inch by 8inch and i saw some ppl put the battery in the back bed and the MSD DIS-4 where the battery use to be unless you got a better place to put them?

how about putting the MSD DIS-4 under the dash behind the glove box or under a jump seat?

When you say under the dash are you meaning still having it under the hood or in the cab? How hard would it be too wire if it sits under the glove box? Do you have a light bar?

I've heard of mounting the batt. in front of the rear passenger tire, inbetween the inside of the bed and the outside sheetmetal. Then just run the wires either under the cab or through the cab to the engine compartment.

i have a Whelen® Inner Edge Lightbar and i put the control were thepassanger side air bag control used to be . i removed the cd player and there was lots of room under were the radio sat to hide all kinds of crap.

i allso have a Code 3® 2122 LED Mini Lightbar currently mounted on the roof and have no problems .

i thought this was a msd dis 4,

if not, you siad your worried about rain, under the hood still gets wet, especially if you go in the mud. .
if you could take a pic we could help you locate a place for it better
