My credo
The perfect is the enemy of the good.
I took off suicide door panels to put new ends on the cables that operate the suicide door latches. Some of the attaching buttons broke, so I need to get more of them.

N801925-S

I *think* that is the right Ford part number??

Anyone know where I can get these, if it's the right thing, or, should I just take one to auto parts store and try to match it?

You might want to try a local paint supply place. Mine stocks all that stuff as well as paint.

That looks like what was used on my 88. Fairly common part. I found that in store they either come in 2 packs or with a bunch of other stuff you don't need.

I bought 2 20-packs from amazon for a few bucks.

A photo may help immensely.

Length 1"
Diameter of shaft looks like 3/16" in between the two top discs and a bit smaller diameter below them.
Two top discs not same diameter, sorry, top is 1/2", bottom one 7/16" looks like
Space between top discs looks like 1/16" or maybe 2mm
Leaves about 3/4" length for the christmas tree part that is below the discs
Diameter of christmas tree "branches" looks like 5/16"

Yep, i buy those in a box of 20 or 50 at the paint supply place. Cheaper than auto parts place.

LOL - I do know what a Christmas tree clip is :-) But there are lots of varieties.
