So I rolled my Ranger a week ago :annoyed: Was going about 70 on highway and truck took a hard left and rolled once or twice and landed on passenger side. Not sure exactly what caused it, roads were pretty good that night. Coulda been mechanical or maybe black ice. Walked away without a scratch. Seatbelts!:icon_thumby:

Anyway the truck runs great and probably drives, haven't been able to see for sure as all the transmission fluid leaked out. It has a 3.0 with auto trans, 4x4, XLT, 126k miles. Was in great shape before the wreck. Well the pictures kind of speak for themselves as to the extent of the damage. (hopefully the links work, I can't post pictures directly) One is from before the roll. The drivers side leaf spring is all bent outta shape too, but other than that I think the damage is mostly cosmetic. Right door was completely bent backwards. Back window blown out. Lots of damage to passenger bedside panel, some damage to other panel and passenger panel. Both mirrors gone. Roof is caved in about 2-3 inches. Title is still clean.

I'm debating on what to do with the truck. I might try to sell it for the right price, but if I can't get a decent offer I'll just fix it up for myself. Problem is I'm a poor college student and will need money pretty soon for both school and the truck.

So I suppose I just wanna see what the TRS community thinks of the damage and what I could maybe ask for to sell it. Or if you folks think I should keep it. Btw I got the truck about seven months ago for 3300, which kinda makes me want to keep it since it was a good deal anyway.

Oh and if anyone is in the Milwaukee area and likes what they see send an offer!

dont look bad i have seen far worse.

it doesnt look to bad you got really lucky you didnt get hurt and how i see it there atleast two things you can do part it out or fix it up but the fact that you said you are a poor college student i would part it out maybe even try to sell it as the whole truck first. im sure you could find someone who would want it heck id prolly be interested in the entire 4x4 system

Your rear axle doesnt look like it is where it is supposed to be...... am I right or are the pictures just difficult to tell from?

On the passenger side it looks to be a bit far back, and on the drivers WAY too far forward.

I'd fix it...Here's one I rebuilt...Before and after..

Honest opinion. Keep it. It needs a new door a new bed, probably new Ubolts for the axle, Possibly a new leaf spring if the alignment stud got sheared off. The drive shaft maybe fine, hard to tell until you re-align the rear end.

Bang the roof back out. You can drive it without a bed. so long as you make sure the lights work.

Keep it => I don't think there is enough damage to justify parting the truck out. I honestly smashed my truck on the trail harder this summer.

FYI I paid 800 for the green truck, its a 99. If you were closer I might be interested.

Must have been someone else, I just part em and rebuild em...lol

dude if anything keep it for a trail truck. it was beautiful btw. but if it is actually a fx4 keep it and sas it out. that would b a sexi beast. if anything i would buy it if i wasnt so far away

yup i say keep it.. there's not enough damage to part it out. just looked at it again... you could drive it, replace rear window, door and re-align the rear end and your good to go...
