Need opinions on rolled truck

I'd keep it. The work that it needs would be far cheaper than trying to replace it.

One thing tho....PULL THE SPARK PLUGS BEFORE YOU TRY STARTING IT AGAIN.

When I was working at the local garage, I had to do some work on a rollover. The shop foreman warned me to pull the plugs and turn it over a few times. Said he made that mistake years ago and all the plugs blew straight out, pulling the threads along with them.

looks a lot better than my 88 did when i was done with it, and i didn't even roll mine over.

+1 fix it.

Thanks for all the comments and opinions so far. Yeah I'm definitely leaning towards fixing er up. I love this truck too much to say goodbye to it. Seems like every non-truck person I talk to says its junk and they'd be scared to drive it and everyone who knows what they're talking about says its not bad at all and fix it up (including me). To address some of the questions and concerns:

The rear axle probably looks wonky cuz the drivers side leaf spring is bent pretty bad. Will definitely need a new one and I'll be sure to get it realigned and the whole rest of the truck checked out as well before I did any extended driving.

Yes the topper was on the truck. When we rolled the topper stuck to the snow and popped off and laid perfectly upsidedown with all the stuff that was in the bed still in it. I'd keep/sell the topper but its got a big 8 inch hole in it now. Other than that the topper has no damage, weird huh.

Its not a FX4, I just liked the stickers :D It is a Sport trim tho so I suppose I could get away with other sport stickers or maybe even edge ones without being a phony:icon_thumby:

well goof man plus hey your going to be able to be say "yeah i rebuilt it"

Yeah now that I think about it that topper will be just fine.. Its just a hole but its on the curved part, but still that shouldn't be too hard to patch up :icon_thumby: As for the rest of the truck it'll take some time and money and a bunch of favors from people that are more skilled than myself but it will live again! I'm pretty sure the thing was smashed up pretty good before I owned it anyway so its a trooper.

Lol Punch the roof out and drive. While your getting a new leaf spring and stuff... just go all out and get a lift!

Wow sorry to hear about this. Looks like a really nice truck. Like everyone else said, I would definately keep the truck and fix it up.

roll it back over and get back to driving.
