need more lift

I have an 88 bk2 2.9 auto trans. mysetup now is 3'' body lift and 32s.
im needing more lift and im thinking maybe....adding a 2'' coil spacer lift/blocks in the rear making it 5'' lift and using either 33 12.5s or super swamper has a 34'' ltb.

what are some opinions on what i should do lift/tire wise . ill be doing some hard offroad so let me know what you think. and pics are welcome anyone have any pics of their setups show them.

Seriously though, I ran a coil spacer setup for a while, anything over an inch of spacer and you will have serious camber issues.

I really like my 34" LTB's. I'm running them on my 91 explorer with just a 2" lift and fender trimming. I suggest getting a set of coils up front instead of just a spacer. I've run both and the ride quality is worth the extra $75 or so for some new coils.

man i wish it snowed like that in kentucky, love it. yea my 32s look puny now that ive seen 34s under the same lift. i still want to add that 2'' bb lift just for the clearence but the 34s look good. wonder if they will fit on factory wheels like a 15x7

Yes 15x7s are fine, mine are 15x7s, 7" is my prefered wheel width for 10.50s, allows you to air down a lot without risking popping a bead.

On my ranger, Im running 33 12.50s with a 3inch body lift and minor fender trimming. It could use a little more cutting to be perfect but its fine and looks good.

yea i ran 33x12.5s on my 89 ranger with a 3'' BL it drove fine no rubbing. drove a 300 mile round trip with it . that little 2.9 just chugaluged along. so the 34s are 10.50's not 12/50s? i mean i guess 10.50s would be a better choice in mud ice or snow

Yes, they're 10.50s. They are great in the dirt and mud, they get down and dig. In deep snow you want to float and these will not float, they get down and dig, then you're either high centered or you're up against too much snow to push.

if it helps im runnin 33-12.50 boggers on 15x10 wheels. Had em on with trimmin and no lift. Jus put on some spring spacers and blocks to make the rear stay off the bed tho. the front was fine with no lift lol

might as well go with a full kit, with 2" spacer u are really pushing it. i have 2" worth of spacers and going by the 1.5:1 ttb ratio ots more like 2.5-2.6" of lift. i have tuff country drop brackets that come on the rig when i bought it. i then had to buy some ra drops for 60, i had sever suspension jacking and bad camber change in turns because of caster. i had bad bumpsteer and had suspension wobble from hell. just going down the road i looked like a fawkn drunkard. try to find a used kit, or buy a r/c with a full plate pivot drop and reinforce it
