Okay heres the deal im planning on doing a 4'' rough country lift and 3'' perf. asc. body lift on a 95 ranger splash....

It is a 4x4 and has 4.10 from the factory

Dont plan on changing the gearing, maybe add a rear locker sometime, it has the 3.0 and auto.

Just curious will it clear 35" and look good or 33's?

From my understanding 35's may be iffy at that height? and how would the ole girl turn um?

Total lift would be 7", would it be possible to add lift spacers to get an extra 2 in front and some shackles out back, or i may make some drop brackets for the leaf hangers to gain the height in the back? if 7'' wont clear the 35" properly?

with 4.10s and 35s it will be way gutless install a 4.56 with 33's or 35's. i know the 33's will fit. i have a 99 3.0 4.56 and 33s and it is pretty gutless.

I know i wont be wanting to reagear right away.... costly!

theses are the wheels im looking at:

Gears before bling. Chrome don't get you home. Put some black steelies on that thing and regear it.

If your building a pavement pounder, it wont be great but you will manage and your driving will adapt to the truck. Most of the people here are really into wheeling and dont mind dents and stuff (myself included) so the responses may be some what biased.

Steelies are about 60-80 a pieces, those wheels i showed you are 108 a piece, polished aluminum, no use skimping out 200$ over what i really want! as far as the bling goes

Just curious, i have been browsing the skyjacker sites and found some liquidators on ebay selling partial skyjacker kits fairly cheap,

About 400$ for a 6'' or an 8'' kit, although there usually missing the add a leafs, coils and brake lines, mostly you get the front end lift minus the coils and lift blocks.

Just wondering how the 8'' from skyjacker is, or the 6'' which kit is better, i would prefer the 8'' for the height, but will i run into problems with alignment?

Next problem is i wont have the rear lift complete with theses liquidation deals, however i need to replace my hangers on the leafs front and back if i lift it. I repaired them for the time being gusseted and welded, but for piece of mind with the extra tire and load i would prefer new.

I was wondering rather then lift blocks i could run some belltech 6400's and rather then add a leafs, i could build me some nice Hanger drop brackets of the hangers to level the back with the front, would this be a problem, Fabrication isnt to big a deal, i would use some 1/4'' or 5/16'' plate gusseted and run that in place of blocks and add a leafs, any inputs on this would be great!

whats wrong with the wheels on the truck, if there 8" wide wheels you can EASILY run 35's on them aslong as there 12.5 wide, save the money there and regear the axles

Arnt the stock wheel 7'' wide?

Secondly, i think one of my wheels are causing a vibration, unsure... i was able to balance all 4 however one had a slight wobble to it on the balancer.

As for the regearing issue goes i think i will lift it first, see how it rides then decided for gearing afterwards

when u lift ur truck you are going to have to re-gear the axles. also if you have the electronic speedometer your going to have to get the recalibration computor which is $230.00. i know you dont have all the money right now so the best thing to do is save the money up and get it all done at once so you wont have to keep doing more shit over and over again.

True.... just curuious what everyones opinions are between the 6'' and 8'' Skyjackeer kits?

dont be a sally, get some crappy steelies with 35s cut to fit and weld the rear. just like everyone else said get some 456s or better front at rear!
