I'm new to this site, and to writing things on forums, so please bare with me. Alright, my dream is to build my 90 Ford Ranger, with its auto tranny, 4.0 V6, to continue being my daily driver cause i love this truck, with the ability to lift it and off road it. I know it probably won't go absolutely everywhere, but that's fine, i like the challenge of getting it places it shouldn't be able to go, and when she's stuck, its not near as hard to get her out. I want it to be close to stock height as possible (planning to flare out the wheel wells to fit medium large wheels) without air. I want to put some sort of blocks in it also so that when there's zero psi my truck still drives, and it doesn't damage the expensive hardware, and i NEED it to work in extremely cold weather. I live in Alaska, and the temps get to below -50 F around here for awhile. I've not found a lot air ride suspension parts for a Ranger, but am more than happy to use parts for something other. Long as i can drive it stock (or near, i like its ability to drive on all our ice so well), and lift it at least 4 to 8 inches, without noise, damage, and the power hits the tires well without destroying itself. I helped drill out and install air ride on a semi last summer, so i've got access to the drill to go threw frame rails. Thanks for any info i get, and sorry this is so long.
