why no lift man!
and ull need to regear for those 31"s
i would say a rollbar with some lights would look sick

I want to wait til I get a true 4x4 before I really lift another truck, but I want my little DD to look good. Thats why I'm waiting to put the 31s on so I can get some 4.10s. I know roll bars don't look good on lower trucks, and I wasn't sure if mine was high enough to look good with it or not. I thought about a winch, but I don't really need it because I don't do too much hardcore offroading, just back in the woods to pick up a deer or go shoot or somethin

First....wheels. Next..those square driving lights have to go. You have them wired already...get some round six inch lights and they can bolt on where those square ones are and just hook up the wires. Ebay has some real nice chrome or black fog/driving lights (KC look a likes). The round six inch light will make the truck look really good, Bro. The truck looks pretty good as it is. If you don't use the bed a lot put a spare tire mount in the bed like I did and that will look cool. Roof racks look really neat as well. I have a Yakima SST set up. I have used it on three rides since I bought it new many years ago.

I just think that roll bars are not so hot anymore. They used to be. I only see a truck with a roll bar at custom auto shows now and then and those trucks are way too pretty to drive on the road or off road. A bed extender looks really cool and I have one and they come in handy so often since I have a 33 x12.5 mounted in my bed.

Here is a photo of the spare in the bed and the bed extension...

Here is a shot of my lifted 2wd 99 Ranger before the body lift. I added the body lift several years ago and the suspension lift many years before that. This is my DD and It is one really great driving truck. I have had no trouble with it except I added the Moog ball joints awhile back. These can be greased so they will last longer.

You see...it is up to your imagination to do what you want to do. Nothing is cheap of course. I had to save up and plan on what I wanted to do before I did anything. You got to read up on all the things you want to do and see what the pros and the cons will be. 4:10 gears are not really good for 31" tires. I run 4:10's on my truck with the 33" tires. I run a Randy's Ring and Gear set up with Yukon.

Have fun with your ride.

I really do want new wheels, but I'm 19, married, and got a nice (expensive) house, so funds are always tight. I had pacer bullet holes on my lifted 85 F150, and I really like the way they look. I'll get some new wheels if I come across some affordable. I agree about the lights, already been lookin into them lol. I don't really want to lift anymore because it's only a 4 banger 2wd, and I'm wantin to get a 4x4 in the next couple of years.

you cant really go wrong with a bushbar, tint the windows, a set of just black steelies with some offset would look pretty good on there too

I do have a tailgate net, thought about takin the tailgate off and puttin it on. I like the way that looks on the Gen 1 and 2s, bc of their square body, but not sure how it'd look on a gen 3

the net would look good, and black rims would add some points too
good your going for round fogs

I agree that'd look good, but I'm not exactly the best painter in the world...

a wider wheel stance i thought always gave it like a baja race truck look kinda. I'd agree with tinting the windows also...but i personally wouldn't want to pay to have it done. Maybe even add a TRS sticker in the back window, i think that adds 5 HP.

Tint the windows for sure. when you get new rims and tires it will really change the look.

4:10 gears are not really good for 31" tires. I run 4:10's on my truck with the 33" tires.

I run 4.10 gears with my 31'' tires and it doesnt feel too different than my stock set up. got the gears and bearing install kit from american muscle and got free shipping.
