pull the IACV off and clean it out. Clean the TB also.......I also would clean the MAF and make sure the air-filter and air intake is clean........however, I bet it is the IACV

i will try the IACV do you know where i should look first for it ?

IACV location

Hi, Andrew -

You didn't say what engine you have in your 94, but in my 95 4.0, the idle air control valve is on top left of intake manifold, opposite the distributor-side of the engine; so it is on the driver's side, behind where the air intake snorkel joins the manifold. Does that help? :dunno:

I had a smiliar problem with my 2wd 2.3 that was caused by a small leak in the intake manifold gasket. Whenever I would come to a stop I would have to give it gas so it wouldn't die...

Ya i have to do that to keep it from stalling ill try the idle control valve then ill check the intake manifold.
