Need help with wires on NP435 install

Okay what I had was a 94 4.0 with a 5 speed 2x4 . It's now a SAS 351w with a NP435 and 208 t-case. My question is about the wires on top of the Trans for the neutral sensing switch. Do I need to hook them together for the cruise control to work or not. I'm planning on the AC and CC to be fully functional.
