I bought a 88 4X4 ranger with a rancho lift and I need to replace the front coils and not sure if they are a 4" or 6" lift. I tried to call rancho with the numbers stamped on the drop brackets but the damn customer service guy did not understand english to much and was no help. Here is what I have , The bracket mounted on the passenger side frame rale is 9" from hole center line to the frame and has the number 1783-1 stamped on it. I found instructions on the net on how to install but none say how big a lift. I am hoping one of you guys or gals can measure a drop bracket on your truck and tell me what I have. Thanks

Rancho only had a 2.5 inch lift for a ranger.

Yep, it's a 2.5" lift. 3" lift coils would work fine on it.
