Need help with sizes!

Stock backspacing is 4.5", the first set you linked is 4.25" so they will stick out 1/4" more than stock. If you are keeping your 225 tires a 7" rim might be a little wide. Also keep in mind that those are steel wheels, so they will add alot of weight for that 4 cyl to turn. Welcome to TRS

1. but wouldn't my stock 15" be 15x7?
2. for the weight issue are they much heavier then the stocks?, since the stcoks are steel.

I don't know for sure what the width of your stock wheels would be. I'm guessing at 6" because of the 225 tires. If your stock wheels are steel then you will be fine, but if they are aluminum then you will probably notice a difference. Especially with that 4 cyl. Look up your stock tires online and see what the recommended wheel width is.

The factory aluminum wheels are 7" wide, so you will be fine. In the late-70's/early 80's the factory was putting 225/70-15's on 8" rims on Corvettes and Trans Ams.
