hello.

I have a 1995 v6 ranger, and the o2 sensor of the passenger side is not working anymore.

are the two o2 sensors equal (under passenger and driver)?

My original sensor (picture attached) isnt a perfect circle, so will it the ntk 22500 work on my truck?

Yes, O2 sensors are all the same, just the length of the wire from O2 to its connector is different, so different part numbers
There are Narrow band and Wide Band O2 sensors, Rangers all used Narrow Band, which were the first type of O2 sensors, Wide Band came much later

Yes, O2 connectors are universal for the most part.
One heads up, there is a Passenger side and Drivers side O2 connector in the Main Engine wiring harness, same connector so they can be reversed, engine will run poorly if they are and it will give you Lean AND Rich codes at the same time :)

As Ron said, the connectors can be reversed, and it will cause some really weird issues.

The purpose of those little ear tabs is to keep you from reversing them. A pair direct fit sensors will have the tabs reversed to keep you from plugging them into the wrong sides.

Thanks for the warning of reversing them.

I just did not understand about the little ear tabs, cause the aftermarket o2 sensors does not have it. So as I can't disting which one goes on each side, anyone of they gonna work ?

They are clearly visible in your first picture.

The aftermarket one you got that doesn't have them is a universal one, it will work on either side. The factory ones were indexed like that to keep them from being hooked up backwards.

that's clear now. Thanks again for the explanation. I will buy a new one.
