need help with new ranger

hey I just bought a 93 ford ranger, all I've had before are large trucks. I'm looking for the best way to replace the starter. I've got the bottom 2 bolts out but the top one between the solenoid and starter is hard to reach. can't drop the trans but I thought taking the oil filter off would help... also is it the same size bolt as the other 2?

theres 3 bolts on the starer? I've only ever run into 2 bolt starters
