need help with engine balance

i am doing a 347 stroker for my swap, my machine just called 50 oz balance is not going to work/recomended. where can i get a 28 oz balancer and flywheel for manual transmission, either m5odr2 or t5? havent got transmission yet

351w from a 96 Bronco, 96-97 f250+, than put a 94-95 Cobra drive pulley on it. Good luck finding them.

There’s a company that makes a 28oz pulley for the Explorer setup (for 347s or 351 swaps), but I don’t remember the name.

i think i just found an old thread of yours on serius explorations from 2011 regarding this topic:

If you can find the balancer I posted pics of, you can just press the 4 tooth wheel off and press a 36-1 wheel on.(In the right location, of coarse.) That will give you a 28oz balancer set up for a 351 or a 347 stroker for DIS. The part number is F6TZ-6312-JA."

Yeah, that was me. I still have that balancer and pulley.

I knew there was someone making them now, I just couldn’t remember who.

For the flywheel you'll need to decide on a transmission. The V8 T-5 bellhousing is set up for 157 tooth flywheel but the M5OD uses a164 tooth flywheel.

I don't know, I was looking at a xtreme performance m5, but holy bank account. T5 I don't like moving shifter back. @Ramcharger90 your build similar to mine, t5 or m5odr2 better driver? BTW I ordered cam springs etc today

Here is what you want.. they have a "stock" 28 oz balancer..
Then they have this..they said it will.handle 6500 rpm

with ease

T5..... but I speed shift and run the RPMs out alot and race light to light.
