Most of what I'm used to dealing with is tiny, low end, mostly plastic crotch rockets though. Mickey Mouse bikes with fiber glass bodies and engines that are at the low end of street-legal.
You guys that actually ride and own Harleys or Goldwings can probably list bikes that weigh almost as much as my truck.
let me try here really quick... boss hoss, dry weight, 1165lbs, + 8.5 gallons of gas (62lbs) + approx 1 gallon of oil (7 lbs) probably another 2 gallons of atf, for 15 more lbs, that brings us to 1249lbs, wiki places curb weight at 1300 lbs...

depends on how much is missing... i would say hit the junk yard and weld in a new piece, should be fine...
