i'm putting a 3" body lift in my 91 ex and i'm wondering what's the best way of disconnecting the shifting cales on the tranny. i got the indicating wire off but i'm having a hard time with the shifter cable it self. i was wondering if i should take the bracket that's bolted to the tranny or just take it out of the bracket. and if tha is the best way, taking it out of the bracket, how does that connector that holds it in there work???

Pry it off the lever and squeeze the tangs on the cable to release it from the bracket.

I didn't touch the shifter cable on my 91 when I put the 3" BL in.
