need help pickin 302

i have a 88 ranger ex-cab 2.9 im staying fuel injected, what is the best 302 moter to drop in and easyest, f-150, full size bronco, or mustang. thanks for the help.

If you're looking for the best in terms of output, the best were the 87-95 Stang, 96-01 Explorer/Mountaineer, 87-91 Lincoln Mark VII LSC, 93 T-Bird, and the 94-97 E or F150 5.0's.

what about full size bronc?

If it's a 94-97, same motor as the E & F series from the same years. The 92-93 truck 5.0's are also roller cammed but with the smallest of the factory rollers. The 94-97's cam is just a tad less cam than the H.O. roller. Add 1.7 rockers to it and it's virtually the equal to the H.O. roller. Same cam was used in the 96-2001 Explorer/Mountaineer 5.0.
