I changed my thermostat new gasket an all, my truck didnt have one in it but anyway i put water in my raditior an it comes out the top of my valve covers on my block.. whats that mean? im having a feeling its the head gasket that i dont wanna redo, could i have bent my valve covers from it getting so hot?my dad an i are going to look at it tommrow...ima take some rtv an go around my valve covers to seal.. i need the truck to haul a load of scrap medal:icon_confused::beer:

Not really related to the leaking water but you didn't put your thermostat in the neck that the upper radiator hose goes to?

Shouldn't be the valve covers, if you take them off completely it still shouldn't leak water. They only deal with oil. Intake is dry (no coolant goes thru it) so it does sound like the headgasket(s)

I'm gonna go with head gasket(s).

sucks if it is, i know youve only had problems since you bought that truck. previous owner needs to die! lol
