NEED HELP no oil pressure.

While I agree the pan will most likely need to be pulled, I would just put on a new filter first. My oil pressure was real low off and on it turned out to be the filter. Besides a filters not even $5

hey don't worry about it...everybody has bad days.
Had something simular happen in a self-propelled hay mower.
fine one minute...nothing the next. Ended up it broke the thin cast ear for holding up the pick-up tube for the oil pump...so the pump worked fine...but the oil just couldn't get to the pump. pretty sure we tried a new filter before dropping the pan.

not saying that is what happened to yours ... but sure would be interested in know'n what happened.
