I did some reading and everything i have read here tells me a I have a bad ABS sensor on one of my wheels.I have a 2003 ranger FX4 when i put the brakes on at low speed I get a pulsating in the pedal its not all the time just most of time.Well I took it to 2 different shop they say tires then go to dealer and say its tires.I know good and well its not they arent that slick compared to my friends tires,I live in asheville,nc does anyone know where I can go to fix this or figure out which one it is.
Thanks

Hi man! theres some things to check that were the cause on mines funny brake pedal, first check balance on tires (shop can do it fast an cheap) then check your shocks, even if theyre 2 days old they might be dead, if you have at least one dead, you should feel the funny pedal, then check for components wearing, like bearings, joints, steering, and finally check for even pressure onyour brake pads, they might be loose or something.I know its several things to chek, but funny pedal fix is among them.Hope it helps.

Unless someone has a previous incident happen otherwise if the ABS sensor was bad it will throw a service engine light & store a code for the ABS system. The brake system sensors are part of the computer's ability to diagnose a faulty sensor to help find & correct issues.

Get a scanner & plug to your OBD II port to see if any codes are stored. Also if your ABS wheel sensor was bad you should have an ABS light on or brake light on. Now if you drive with these lights on and don't do anything about them I hope you don't drive the same roads as I do.

Most of the time I see people with pulsating pedal issues they have out of round rotors or drums. Tire issues can cause the same effect. If it happens at a certain speed (low speed & not all the time) I agree. Go and have the tires balance checked. One of our POS Colorado delivery trucks had a broken belt on a tire and it would cause brake pulsation at certain speeds.
