i have been trying to get my wheels off my truck for some time now and well there seized on. i have tried every thing i could think off from kicking it to putting 2x4s and a jack trying to spread it apart. nothing is working. i will try anything. i need to get these off to change my shackles.

so you got the lug nuts off but the rim is stick to the hub? if so get a rubber mallet or a deal blow hammer and support the truck on jack stands and hit the back side of the rim and turn it as you hit it. the shock should break it loss and maybe spray some pb blaster from the back side and front if you can.

Heating the hub area with a torch can sometimes help.

Go have your tires rotated.

i got a appt on thursday to get them off,i just cant get under it to hit it with a hammer.

How are you going to do shackles if you can't even get under the truck to beat off a tire? How did you get the jackstands under it? Beat the piss out of the tire. A BFH works wonders!

Take all the lugnuts off and take her for a spin around the block, make sure you really get on her around the turns. :D

Heat, PB blaster, a big hammer, prybars all while listening to hardcore music.

i had this problem once with a 2001 focus, the rear wheels were seized on so i took a sledge hammer and wrapped 2 beach towels around the head of it and wrapped it with duct tape and then gave a couple whacks and off they came.

I recommend a strategically placed karate chop.

:icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

but i would start to beat them on the outside just like they are, so you can hit them better then under the truck, eventually they have to come free

Stand back like 20 ft and get a running start and jump kick the top of the tire... Seriously that worked for me on my F250 diesel. or what we do at the shop is get a sledge used for doing semi tires its got a 4ft handle and on the lift you can get some pretty good swings. although i still hate doing it cause I get dirty and customers are like rawr.

yeah got them off on thursday only took 20 mins at the shop hitting from behind i just couldnt get under good enough to get a good swing onto it
