i was just driving to my college and i started braking and turned right and a part of my driver side a-arm (i think) snapped off

um no a arms on a 93 ranger. I dont think, are you talking about the radius arm the goes from the i-beam to the braket about 1/2 back to the trans crossmember?

its on my 98 and the motor reved out rite before it snapped

Could be a bolt or the ball joint maybe. Can you get some pics of it?
