Need help asap

i have a 2001 ranger and the battery went dead yesterday after jumping the truck off the passenger head light on low beam will not work but works on high beam swapped the bulbs and still same problem I really need some help on this one o and the blinkers are flashing fast but they all still work .... Please help

Check the ground for that headlight. Each headlight has it's own ground (at least the older Rangers do). It should ground right to the radiator support.

Alright thanks I'll give that a try but it just stumps me that the high beam works but the low beam doesn't ??? And the only thing that happened was the battery went dead

Did you check your fuses?

Also check to see if you have 12v going to the headlight, if you do then its a bad bulb, if you don't, check the fuses.

blown fuse and flasher. you put negative on first didnt ya.

I'm not really sure which one neg or pos was put on first but it works on high beam but no low beam so it's obviously getting power is there a fuse for the high beams and low beams for each light ???
