I have to go in and replace the fuel pump on my truck... But there are so many companies who make them, who is the best to go with? If anyone has any experience with this id really appreciate the help!

Unfortunately Motorcraft would be the correct choice, but it will be expensive.
If the one in there now is original then the 23 year life span speaks for itself.
And the odd thing is that other manufacturers offer long warranties, I think Motorcraft is 30 or 60 days, lol.

If it is easy for you to replace the fuel pump then cheapest brand is fine, if it fails it will usually do so under warranty so you can swap it out until you get a good one, it's just the labor and the trip to the parts store that is a pain.

I agree with Motorcraft as the best choice for quality, but it will also be the most expensive.. Bosch would be a close second, IMO.

Go check out Rockauto, I got a new Motorcraft in-tank pump for my BII there for about $80. That's not a bad price considering that many years before that I paid $200 at the dealership for the same piece for my Ranger.

Ok, thank you both for your imput!!! Motocraft is obviously good quality since its lasted this long, so i guess i will go with that!
Thanks!
