hey guys I got a Sony DSC-70 Digital Camera and I need to upload pictures to my computer and its pluged in right and i start uploading and i got 123 pictures to upload and once it gets to 42 images it says an error has occoured so i click the skip button to skip that one image and when i do, it comes up again for the next image and it comes up for every image so when im done I only get 42 images total cause it needs to skip the rest?? please help!
Thanks,

Jeff

they are gone. be glad you got those. have the camera format the card. if you are running windows xp just download them then once on computer you can twist, turn, shade do whatever you want to. i have heard that if they are still in the camera and you do anything to them windows will lose them.

there still on my camera? I dont really get what youre saying...gone from where? have my cam format the card? im lost...Mom said theres probably too many pictures on my computer, damn i used to have an extra hard drive untill my damn dogs chewed the damn cord for it...

ok. usually when you are out of space the computer tells you that. i think there is more to it than that. i am very good with computers when in front of me. but i tend to talk in riddles. sorry about that.

haha,
actually i did get some pop-ups saying that my memory minimum was too low

Memory low on the computer? did you get around it or is it still giving you problems?

If you got 42 images off the camera, try deleting them from the camera (one by one) then try uploading again...or reboot the computer and close any apps that are loading from startup...

what i think ill do is copy all my pictures on a disc and then see if my camera pics will upload, then again, i may just wait, i got a laptop that will be fixed in a few days, i may just leave it till then

I would try pulling the memory card out of the camera and plugging it directly into the PC. If you don't have a memory card reader, plug the camera in but don't use the picture wizard. Go to my computer, then click one one of the "removable storage" icons until one opens. You can then go into the camera and browse the pictures just like it was a windows folder.

where would the memory card slot be located? i know theres one on my laptop not sure about this old betsy

If it's more than a couple years old, it probably won't have one.. and if it did, there are more than one kind so there should be a whole bunch of different sized slots. My guess if you had one, it would be on the side or front.

oh my god, this is freaky,
i was uploading them and got this
untitled.jpg

i had that page left there in another tab, (im using firefox.) and i opened another photobucket tab and when i did the photos that actually worked are uploaded,
whats going on??

That's part of the problem...like he said, go to Windows Explorer and open the removeable disk storeage just like a regular folder, copy the files to a folder on your computer...the error you are seeing will not appear if you do it this way...

seems like it works if I only download a couple at a time
