Yesterday i got in it to leave turned ac on and as soon as i did it stated running bad and check engine light came on. So i turned ac back off and check engine light went away and running fine again. I turn ac back on and same thing. Even going down the road it does this when i turn the ac on and if i leave it on while driving i cant get very fast if i press the gas more than a quarter way it cuts out. So today i unplug the compressor and turn ac on and it does the same thing so it aint the compressor doing it. I've put new relays in everything and wiggled and tapped on stuff and nothing. :icon_confused: It had to wait till it got 90 degrees to do all this.

That's weird - I have no idea, but since nobody's responded, I thought I'd at least say what I thought - maybe it'll give you some ideas.

#1 - What changes when you turn A/C on? Does it bump the idle up like when the compressor is running?

#2 - Do you have schematics for your truck - it sounds like something is fubar'd in the wiring.

Thanks for all the help... But i figured it out on my own. Kinda weird no one even talked about the pcm being bad but thats what the problem was i pulled it out and this is what i found

I cant tell from the pics But did those caps Fall off the board? or did you take them off? Did the tops pop up or convex out?

and I will just throw this out there. If those two caps are bad. take them to a local electronics parts shop. the two caps are worth less then a dollar.

I took them off one leg of em was burnt bad on both of em so i took a sotter gun and got them the rest of the way out
