i lifted my 98 ranger 2wd with fabtech lift spindles now the alignment is so bad the wheels are toed out like this \ / not that bad but perty bad and the camber is bad to i took it the an alignment shop and they said it was going to be 300 dollars for the alignment because i needed a camber kit. is there anything i can do to buy me some time. maybe just fix the toe in and toe out so i can drive safely until i can afford the camber kit any help?

Your toe in and toe out isn't going to help, you need the bushings, but dam Big O tires did my shit for 50 bucks I would call around before spending 300 bucks on something you can get for 20 bucks lol, if I were you I would buy them and install them yourself and then go get the alignment so your not paying them a shit load of cash

thanks i wasnt shure how hard it would be to install them my self but i did some research and it seems relatively easy. i just installed the spindles and coils myself this weekend so im shure i can easily handle the little cam bolts but yeah 300 is rediculous for a damn alignment the fabtech spindles only cost me 150. so ill pick those cam bolts up tomarrow and install them and see how it goes......

just noticed your in SD as well. IF your near the santee area you may want to try trueline. They are off bradley I belive in santee. They are a off road freindly shop too.

if you can put your spindals and coils in, I would take it as a safe bet that you can install the camber kit yourself.

:stop: $300 NO DEAL! Napa has adjustable camber bushings for $70 with instructions & tech library has the string trick for adjusting the toe-in(out). I did mine (lowered 3"/4") -- you oughta be able to do yours & pocket the $225 left over, or even splurge & go get that $50 alignment just to get everything "tweeked" after you do the TRS alignment yourself. (the adjustable bushings cost twice as much, but every time you decide to try something diferent, all you gotta do is spend 15 minutes re-adjusting the bushings!) :icon_hornsup:

yeah i bought the camber kits from kragen and they were only 20 dollars a piece and i installed them in 30 minutes and the alignment was 45 dollars my friend got me a good deal at evans tire so total everything cost me 80 dollars. not bad beats paying those guys 300 dollars for something so simple

i got the spindles so cheap off of craigslist here in san diego your bound to find ranger lift parts in socal theres a ton of prerunner rangers.
