as the title says i am looking for a measurement or 2

the measurement i am looking for are for the following things on a 3rd gen ranger

1. outside of frame rail to outside of frame rail , directly behind the front bumper
2. center of tie rod end stud to center of tie rod end stud of a truck with known good alignment

thanks to all that help me out

EDIT: I would also like a pic of the steering linkage , particularly the center link , as looking from the driver side toward the passenger wheel

PBR , can you tell me if your frame is perfectly square where the gearbox mounts , or if the outside edge of the rail has a "hump" in it around where the bolts come through ?

Not sure what you are asking really it is pretty flat it turns into more of a rectangle in that area

actually PBR you got it dead on , so now i know there is nothing wrong there , so i still have yet to figure out my steering issue , but now it is down to 4 things : 1. Linkage , 2. Shaft , 3. Box , 4. Knuckle

Can you not get the tie rods adjusted proper? or is the steering messed up

that is looking down my frame rail , i cant tell if that looks right or not

It looks like mine from what I can see it's pretty smooth tell the spring perch has the impact divits right up front other than that it's flat
