I have a 1996 Ford Ranger with the 3.0 v-6 Im looking for the Ac line that runs from the top to the back(sorry not a mechanic) I work for a Chrysler dealer and took it in to have it charged and apparently they caused a leak with the pressure...anyway they ordered a new complete line dryer and all and it was for a 4cy motor....they cut mine off to get it off now Im stuck with no air and no line...Im having a hard time finding one for a v6 there is plenty out there for a 4cy...any help is very appreciated!

BEEN THERE DONE THAT! No parts available for the 3.0 v-6 lots for the 4 cy!

went through 18 pages on google and 15 calls no luck...even called 5 junk yards!

IIRC, Autozone sells them....

You can always do what I did. I pulled a line from the junkyard off of a vehicle and flushed the hell out of it. The junkyard did the job of removing all the refrig so the part was basically new.

Flush it reaaaaallly well. People are dumb and put in stop leak. You don't want that mammajamma in there.

That's the liquid line. From OP's description, it sounds like he needs the whole assembly that goes from the accumulator to the compressor and then to the condenser. I just checked Napa's website, and it seems he's right. They also list only the liquid line for the 3.0.

Well, I browsed Rock Auto, and they have this hose for a 98 with a 3.0 V6. Does this look like the same thing? Kind of a weird dilemma you got there! Or is the hose in your pic the actual correct part? I assume not, or you would have bought it, LOL.

It's a Four Seasons brand, part number 56362 if this will work.

It looks just like the one I have in my pic but the one in the pic is for a 4 banger.....It has to have the black thing on top to put the freon in...I think 95-97 will work for my setup with a 3.0
