Need a little help from a Plumber, or capable Homeowner

Ours goes through a stationary tub then to a floor drain. What I would do is to buy a tub and have the washer drain into that then into the drain using a trap. This way you won't have water from the drain drain back into the washer. Plus you can tap into the water supply for a faucet on the stationary tub to wash your hands and for soaking clothes. Oh and if you have a backup it won't ruin the washer it would be kept in the tub.
